If you use Ableton Live you have to try this one.

you can try Density and Pulsaret from ApeSoft ( app & m4l )

Aswell few Reaktor ensembles from EverythingTurns which are exceptional too.

    Cheers

uhbik - g from u-he, it's not a real granulizer, but it works with grains and pitch modulation, it's really funny imo :)

Sorry for bad english anyway :P

One of the oldest and most powerful granulizers for Windows : Granulab

Can make some very dense textures, like really a few notches more intense than more recent granulizers.

    Hello.

    My opinion is this...

If you are on a mac (not my case :)) you have to go to metasynth. The version 4 is enoug, it runs on osx leopard and if you really want it you can use virtualbox and run inside. This software is something amazing, it does all sorts of interesting stuff and its grain is beautifull.
If you are on a Pc , try Reaktor. There are all sorts of crazy and "normal" grain modules with a decent sound. My advice try the weirdo ensemble that is contained in the best of user reaktor presets inside the sampler folder.

All of the previous suggestions are also fine...

    Bye.
