    Hi
As the tile says, I cant see Oceanswift Polyphenom into Reaper. under win 10.
So I'm wondering if any of you have it working, or at least is able to see it, under win 10 but with another DAW...

Thanks in advance for your answers

Not exactly your question, but I have Win 10 and Reaper 64 bit, so I thought I'd try too to see. I grabbed Polyphenom from here: https://oceanswift.net/polyphenom/

I installed Ocean Swift - Polyphenom 2 AHS VSTi Setup x64.exe and it worked. I then tried installing Polyphenom AHS VSTi Setup x64.exe and that also worked, plus version 2 still works. So, it does seem to work with Reaper 64 + Win10.

Have you tried the standalone to see if that at least works?

Thank you for trying and give the results.
    Yes that's exactly my question.

No, but it's a good idea, I'll try. Thank you.

Oops, sorry.. lol I had installed a couple other VSTis today and thought Polyphenom had a standalone version, but it appears it does not. So, so much for that idea. Edit: FYI, there actually is a Polyphenom Standalone for version 1, but I assume you're trying to get version 2 working and don't care about version 1.. but it's part of the same zip download I linked above. Anyways, I guess that's what confused me in thinking there was a standalone for v2

So I guess you've somewhat narrowed things down to being a problem with the VSTi install in some way or another. I assume you've tried a reinstall of the VST already.. if not, of course, give that a whirl.

Next.. as you probably know, Reaper will list the VSTs that it scanned but could not load in the preferences (same location where you add your VST locations and such). Is it showing there as failing to load (indicating it at least did scan it, but failed to load)? If so, I think you can click on it again, and it will try and re-scan it... then I'd head right over to Event Viewer (windows) and see if there's any hints there as to why it isn't working. i.e. any recent errors/warnings/etc. in any of the tabs.

    Hi
Thank you for your answer. I've done all of this, I've even renamed the dll to force a rescan, but no solution.
What's your win 10 version ? When was it's last update?

This probably doesn't help you much, but at least you know. I got Polyphenom working with Reaper on Windows 11 as well as with S1 5.5 and C12.

I suspect that something is missing in my win 10. It's an OEM version that came with the computer...

I actually just updated in the last day or two. I'm not on my home computer right now though, so will have to get back to you, but I keep it pretty regularly updated (except for completely ignoring Windows 11 right now).

Well, see if this can helps u.

I just downloaded Polyphenom 2 from its official website, I opened it in Studio one 5.5.1 and put the serial. And it works, although in my case, it pulls a lot of the CPU, especially when I moved the notes of the Pianoroll

My operating system is: Windows 10 Pro 21H2, Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0

If you need it, I can download Reaper and test if it (or other software) opens.

(I think out loud)maybe Is it something related to microsoft visual C++ ?
