hey guys i want phat and nasty moog type sounds with all the analog subtleties. any chance? so far i can't

find anyyhing that sounds truely 'live analog.'

i've tried samplemoog its pretty good, the virus emu is good, also phaedra redux is so-so but has a few

good sounds.

 

The classic option would be the Arturia series. But when it comes to Kontakt, I find it very difficult to have one LIB that covers all needs, but I like NI play series: compact instruments with great potential for variability. Try Analog Dreams, Modular Icons, Hybrid Keys, Cloud Supply, Soul Sessions, Stacks, Lo Fi Glow, Deft Lines and Ethereal Earth. I Also enjoy Retrocade, Cruiser and even Zero G Nostalgia.

You can still find Moog Voyager and DSI Evolver, good libraries from the same PinkNoise Studio at the sister site.

 

Also phaedra redux was poorly edited, the 'clicking' at the beginning makes most patches unusable. even when adjusting attack it doesn't remove most of the patches clicks.

 

Why don't you want to take a look at UVI Falcon libraries? I haven't tried them yet; however, they have some decent analog libraries.

+1 for Arturia series, it's hard to not find something you need for and of top quality with these.

For individual synths/plug-ins, I absolutely have to recommend GForce Software Oberheim OB-E because there's truly nothing quite like it IMO. It has a really sweet, analog sound. And a BUNCH of presets. I encourage you to try it!

 

What do you recommend for arturia fakes? or do they sample stuff now?
