i have searched the computer, theres not even a VST presets folder or files of any kind

i would install the previous version to get them, but i seem to have lost it

if anyone has a link or can put them somewhere, would be much appreciated

That's GForce Virtual String Machine v3.1.4? It comes with a huge library [several GBs] of presets that you have to download and install separately.

edit: I don't seem to remember having v3.1.4. I have version 2.1 and there is even newer version 3.0 now with 10GB of presets but not v3.1.4. Have you downloaded it from GForce's website? Anway, it still needs a separate multi GB library.

from user comments elsewhere; it looks like you installed this over the old installation, and this can be a source of problems too. Uninstalling with Revo and Reinstalling whichever version works for you; is what was recommended.

 

I guess you have checked in C:\Users\*your name*\Documents\VST3 Presets\Plugin Alliance?

I had it installed for a while when it was released on the sister site, but I can't remember if there was any presets or not. I don't usually use presets for plug-ins like Vertigo VSM-3 so might be that I never even checked.

Edit: I installed it to see if it worked for me and there seems to be no problem with the presets. Try uninstalling and install again and see if they show up in the Documents\VST3 Presets\Plugin Alliance\Vertigo VSM-3 folder.

yes i dont have any VST3 Presets folder at all
and i mentioned i dont have the previous version to have installed over...this is a new machine
i have reinstalled it a third and fourth time, in different locations, running as administrator, still no VST presets of any kind
i did do a full install the last time and i get AAX presets, but not VST or VST3
even created a VST3 Presets plugin, no dice
turned off firewall in case that was blocking

if anyone feels like zipping them up sometime and putting somewhere, that would be a big help
dont have any idea what the problem is here

 

update: i managed to find my old system drive and got all the Plugin Alliance presets off of there

but like i got this new Asus prebuilt computer that is very good, but im having alot of trouble getting my audio warez stuff working
is there any newer Windows settings or hardware settings that can interfere with this stuff?
had to go to extreme lengths to get Addictive Drums 2 to work
using the same comodo firewall that i used on the old box
ill keep working on it, thanks for any info

 

Are you using Win 11? I'm on Win 10 so I can't help you with Win 11 related problems, unfortunately.

 

Known problem with Plugin Alliance installer, get the pre-sets here Presets - Plugin Alliance (plugin-alliance.com)

The recent updates are in fact updates and not the full installer. The unfiltered audio plugins you need to reinstall the original .exe then update them, as the presets are not in the zip above.
