Yes, Kebu is a great performer, I love his gigs, even if his music sounds much more synthwave than Italo Disco. This probably due to a generational issue: he is too young to have lived through the 80s

I didn't go through all 60+ posts but the vast majority of what I heard is NOT disco, more like New Wave, so here's some REAL italo disco for ya'll'

GTFOOH. Mel and Kim's Respectable was one of the defining dance records of that era. Utterly sublime. Showing Out was even better. It's a solid House track from 1986 -- long before the whole acid house thing hit the UK a year or so later. It predates tracks like Joe Smooth's Promised Land (1987) and Inner City's Big Fun (1988). Predates Strings of Life. It came out about the same time as Jamie Principle/Frankie Knuckles Your Love, which, incidentally and pulling this back on topic, took it's bassline from an Italo Disco track, Feels Good (Carrots and Beets) by Electra.

Stock Aitken Waterman were way ahead of the game.

A classic: one of the best albums of that era, top of my list. If I remember correctly, Luther Vandross and Jocelyn Brown were singing on that record.
Yes, I agree with @boomoperator : even if the production was Italian (Malavasi), I can't consider Change as Italo Disco, the vibe in it is still 70's disco, the decade had not yet been turned, especially there was no intuition in it of what would happen shortly thereafter (I mean the electronic revolution with synths and drum machines).
In any case, this is a great track

First off: i would like to click like to every post, but this thread is becoming larger and larger, I would desire to have a thread like button, I like even terrible kitsch/cringe tracks (and there were a lot), but memories are sweet memories.
Don't forget: Paradise, The glow of love, Magical night, Hold tight, Searching...
These are bloody high quality productions (thanks to Malavasi).
    My preferred: Let's go together

3 projects of mega producer Mauro Farina, responsible for an almost uncountable number of tracks.

Allan Barry - Come On, 1986

Max Coveri - One More Time, 1986

    Damn! you're digging deep ...
Ok then, here's my cringy playlist: I don't think any of these songs have ever been listened to outside Italy

    Disclaimer:
Cheesy brass stabs, explicit sequenced basses and insane gate reverbs on snares

    Via Verdi - Diamond

Sandy Marton - Camel by camel

Tracy Spencer - Run to me

Taffy - I love my radio

Ha, knew 3 out of 4, but only 2 names, thanks! Tracy Spencer is of course from Marx & Spencer - Stay
I heard that one first in '83, is probably in my top 5 of Italo tracks - but it appeared to be a cover from the sixties:

    More Summer music:

1982 Boboss - Tequila, on the Il Discotto label. They signed great artists like Doctor’s Cat, Gary Low, Scotch & many more.
Tequila is another track that I thought was an Italo original, but that is from 1958!
Right now I guess I prefer this original.

1982 Dharma - Plastic Doll (instrumental) Great track, but I prefer this instrumental, the vocal version has a nasty verb.
In all, I can’t say I played Italo music for it’s vocal qualities..

    1983 Kermesse - Mrs Moon

Taffy´s been played in Scandinavia where Italo disco was a thing in the 80s. I still have the 12". We had a lot of records in the shops back then from BeatBox, Vinylmania, ZYX and a few from MEM records. I have several of the 2LP Volumes of Italo Disco from ZYX. I remember from when I was a DJ, we had a series called MaxMix, or something like that, containing megamixes of mostly italian acts, I think. This was before the Italo boot series.

Just watched this and loved it. I discovered Italio Disco through Hi-Nrg in 1987 when i was 14. Although few track for me that were huge at time, included PrimaVera, Taffy - I love My Radio, Paul Lekakis, Boom Boom & Joy - Touch by Touch which were all italian produced i believe.

That's interesting, I never knew of Fred Ventura, but...
In past I purchased a compilation, and inside there was (is) a song that reminded me of this voice and sound of tracks you posted.
So investigating I found that Fred ventura was also Flexx, and this was this great track:

    Edit: I forgot this:
