Roland all plugs Drama! :(

    This morning for no reason at all all Roland plugs stopped working (Sierra/Logic) :(

    As soon as I open any Roland plugs on a track it sends Logic bombing! :snuffy:

    Is this happening to anyone else?

    Any ideas or suggestions? :mates:

    No, no... iMac.
    But plugs worked fine until now :crazy:

    i recommend blocking logic with the firewall and reinstalling the plugs

    Logic is blocked as: Deny any outgoing connection...
    There's a stronger and safer way to do that?

    For testing purposes? Disconnect (physically) from the router or switch it off.

    Or block the manufacturer's/vendors website in hosts file. That option is not best though, in case the user wants to visit the site :)


    You should also block the individual .component files in your software firewall, and also any standalone applications. Hosts file edit is like using a hammer for a thumbtack.

    this is a prime example of why your music computer should never be connected to the net, you should have a second computer to surf and download with, refurbished Intel i5 PCs with 8 gb ram and 500gb HD are around $85. more than good enough for net use.
