That's correct after he sold EA to iZotope. He told me it was sort of an "honorary position" as part of the deal.
He retired from that post after a year or two....I think as of Fall 2020 (something like that) he had totally withdrawn from the scene.

By the way, I enjoyed your comment about 2C Audio. All too true. The final implementation of Breeze is really quite good for sound design, but somehow Souter has also stopped working. I asked him to do a surround or multi-channel version of it, but his reply more or less said TMT (Too Much Trouble). Such is the way of Reverberators.

 

Just my 2cents - Excalibur is awesome too,like multitool in your pocket,gui is not so useful but sound really cool

 

Agreed, it is an excellent Swiss Army Knife type tool. It seems to be an all in one significant upgrade of the Lexicon signal processing suite of effects. Michael was (probably still is) quite pleased with it. I imagine it's sort of like everything he had wanted to do with signal processing that wasn't a reverb.
