Logic stock or Cthulu for me still. A new one to try would be great :)

Ableton's built-in one works for me, but I might just try out others.

I sometimes use Sample Logic's Arpology (or their other libraries with the same "step animator" engine) and just take the midi out.(use Kontakt vst version)
I also find VPS Avenger and Anna 2's arp function good so I will use their Arp to drive other synths.

Ok, I gave Venomode Phrasebox a brief spin and I think it improves on BlueARP for my usage. You can easily play more than one note at a time, you can add rests and change for how long individual notes are played without having to fight the UI. Cool!

Depends on your musical needs, so my top three would be.

    1. SquaredHeads Nora is bar far the best most complex arp ever created, it's sad development stopped as it's insanely powerful. Goes where no arp had gone with chains that can turn an arp into a composer. Add in the various added goodies like scale lock, preset sharing, and various swing amounts and soon Nora will make you understand that not all arps are created equal. It's strange Nora never caught on much and I still use it all the time. IMHO it's the standard I compare all arps to.

    2. Audiomodern Riffer is fun and fast, with some more work to iron out some quirks and a few added options, it could be in competition for the best the best today.

    3. Xfer Cthulu is my favorite traditional simple arp, with the added chord side it's got hidden powerful musical creation options all within one plugin.

Does anybody know of an arp plugin with a free rate option? (unsync to bpm)
Chtulhu won't work for me as it's on Hz and it isn't very precise. I also love Ableton's arp but my main DAW is Logic :dunno:

Are there any good collections of arp presets for the arpeggiator in Ableton, that anyone might recommend?
