    Win11 - 12700k - integrated graphics (UHD 770) - All drivers up to date.

all of the Pulsar Audio plugin GUI's do not work despite UHD 770 supporting openGL. I found another thread that recommended rolling back to an older graphics driver but I wanted to see if there were other solutions to this issue that don't involve rolling back my drivers. Using reaper daw

They Addressed that in v1.1.2, Hopefully the fix they made UI will make things work for you
    Changes in Pulsar Massive v1.1.2

    • Fix 32 bits AAX and VST3.
    • Fix undo/redo bug.
    • Fix various graphic and UI bugs.
    • Fix AAX AudioSuite crashes in Pro Tools.
    • Correct audio artefacts when moving drive parameter really fast.
    • Add zoom level selector on top left corner of the screen.
    • Add stepped 0.5dB gains and stepped bandwidth.
    • Band on/off with ctrl+click or right-click on a band handle.
    • Add keyboard shortcut for changing currently edited channel.
    • Fix A/B issue in FL Studio.
I would wait and try this version before messing with the drivers

I also experienced this issue, it's not about the driver I already had the latest installed. This seems to happen with integrated graphics mostly, got no issues with dedicated gpus. GUI loads but it's flickering and unusable but resizing can make it work temporarily just once.

You can check OpenGL status with this > OpenGL Extensions Viewer 6 | realtech VR | realtech VR (realtech-vr.com)

It says that system already supports latest OpenGL version. I think this needs to be fixed by pulsar audio themselves or it's already fixed in newer versions.

Here is an example from Softube:

Softube - System Requirements for Plug-Ins
The problem is reoccurring OpenGL renderer issues which Softube haphazardly patch and Windows updates repeatedly break.

    Maybe this will help:
It has to do with GSYNC guys.
Go to NVIDIA Systemsettings page -> GSYNC
Then ONLY tick "Fullscreen", NOT "Windowed + Fullscreen".
That fixes it, somehow the Softube plugins really dont like GSYNC which is activated if its in "Windowed + Fullscreen" mode.

sadly this does not seem to apply to the other plugins (Mu, Smasher, 1178) as using the most recent version of those the problem is still present. appreciate your help though

    User @Flex Rabbit says:

I found the solution. I had to change in DeviceManager the driver from "Intel UHD Graphics 770" (latest) to "Intel UHD Graphics" (old from 23.07.2021) and disable in IntelGraphicControlRoom Antialiasing for Studio One.

I haven't a clue where the old driver is coming from, its a clean installation on a new pc. After Win11 installation i updated Win11, all drivers and BIOS with Asus and Intel Tools, after that i disable Internet. Maybe the old driver was installed with Win11. However - it works now.
    Thanks for your advice.

Go back and wait until the company provides a driver for Windows 11.

I had this issue with my copy of Smasher, so I emailed them about it. I'm running an i9-12900K also using the onboard graphics.

    This was their response:

    "Thanks for reaching out

Unlike most other plug-in manufacturers, we use the graphics card to reduce the CPU usage and to have smoother metering and animations in our plug-in. Unfortunately this means that in some rare cases we face some compatibility issues due to graphic drivers with faulty OpenGL 2.0 support.

In most cases, these issues are fixed by the graphics card manufacturer by means of an update of the drivers, so I advise to try to install the latest version of the drivers from the manufacturer's website (for example, Intel, AMD etc) in the hope that they fixed their OpenGL support."

After a little back and forth with them, I was told that a new system could be released for the plugins within a year.

"We have been already working on this for several months, but it is a huge work, that we're doing with maximum priority despite the fact that doesn't help paying the bills. An update with the new system could be expected within a year."

So I wouldn't expect much from them anytime soon

that is really unfortunate and peculiar, as there are tons of people using an Intel system for audio that rely only on the iGPU. Oh well, will look at other options. Thanks a lot for your input.
