May be I was not clear expressing my thoughts. Imagine a software where you introduce:
    1. Harmony or
    2. A midi melody

Then selects a style: for instace, bach corale, beethoven 2nd symphony, electronic soundscape, piano rag, etc
Then the program generates a arragement accoding to the selection. Then, you can edit, change the sounds will all the libraries you guys proposed in the previous comments, for me those are two different processes: composing first, then producing the music.

As Band in a Box (for me, an exceptional software) has proved is that the arragement can be programmed as it is constructed upon instrument selection and note patterns, so, why not apply this concept to other types of musics (orchestra, cinema, electronic, etc)?

Ambar, quite interesting the musicdevelopments applications - specially rapidcomposer and melodya. Are these tools around audioz so I can download them?

I think that according to your initial question "something similar to music in a box" but for classical music, it is different from what is mentioned here about sound libraries and the midi that it can bring. Since they do not generate or re recommend a genre, that is. If you use a sound library, either from EastWest , De kontakt or Uvi, or if you use Rapidcomposer. They are not going to tell you "hey what do you think how it looks like that". And I think that's what you mean.
The truth is that the only thing I know is "Music in a box" and there is another one I don't remember the name of, something from Rockband, but I don't think it's for classical music.

In a nutshell, you want a classical music style generator, right?

The closest thing I've seen to this is a video that Oly posted of a man using two programs to generate classical music melodies and harmonicas, but it wouldn't be what you're looking for, I think.

Another thing that can be done a bit, would be Ezkeys, let's suppose you write a piano in pop music, then you pass it through Ezkeys and there is an option that allows you to change what you have played according to the libraries it has.
    So you could do this.
you get several libraries of classical music in midi, you save it in the Ezkey folder. now you play your piece and then choose how it would sound according to the libraries.
I do not know if I explained well

I think any arragement of any style can be studied and programmed like Band in Box does with the "band arragement". I'm just searching for different composition tools, not only for orchestra, but yeah, in the orchestra world I see A LOT of samples and no arragement knowledge.

2.) Guitar Pro is not a tool just for guitar players wanting to tab out their music, it is so much more than that. It is a more sophisticated score writer, than the free app on your phone. You can take the design process one step further by adding more realistic instruments for playback and creating professional and customizable sheet music.

3.) Hookpad is an ingenious software that simplifies the songwriting process. It brings together good sounding chords in such a way that melodies and hooks are created from them. A kind of musical notepad.

    4.) Reason
Developed by Swedish software company Propellerhead, this versatile piece of songwriting software is ideal for electronic musicians looking for access to a myriad of synthesized sounds and effects. The program has come a long way since being introduced in 2000. It’s a great tool for musicians wanting to add new interesting layers of sound to their recordings as well as live performances. Here are the types of sounds Reason can deliver:

Re: EZ Keys, I recall watching a video which demonstrated connecting EZ keys, EZ Drummer and EZ Bass together within a project, they're designed to sync with each other harmonically.

I'm checking the second video (the remidi video) and it seems great. I've to study remidi and remidi 2 more in depth, but it seems that, it these tools are ok, could be very powerful.

In this video remidi is combined with scaler 2, I still don't know why.

    I'll keep you informed.

    Ok, work done.

In my opinion, scaler 2 is a cool arranger tool, and combined with remidi is a great combination for exploring musical ideas. In fact, in all the videos I watch about this ,people are saying "this is a good starting point..."... the problem is that may be it's only that. After that starting point, then what? anyway, I'm downloading both programs because to me they seemed to have very interesting workflow.

In detail, I see several issues, but the main one is the lack of slurs between midi cuts in remidi: remidi cuts the midi in pieces (normally bars) so when combined together the notes always fall in the 1 of each piece (because the midi slices selection in remidi prefered these type of melody) - my ears get tired easily of that cadence, so manual adjustment will be necessary.

I'm marking the scaler 2 answer as best, because it's the more closer exposed here to what I had in mind, though far from my original idea. Another huge tool I'd like to share with you is Pizzicato Professional, it has several tools really cool for composing.

    Hi Ryck,

In the remidi video he uses remidi, scaler 2 and orchestra complete 2 - Awesome combination!! I really love the sounds of orchestra complete 2. I've been searching in audioz but I did not find it. Searching the inet I saw there are 2 vst's with the same name: one from sonuscore and another from best service. Do you know if they are both the same or which one is the one he uses and where could I get it? Thank you!

    There is no such tool.

Software developers must first have comprehensive information about a style in order to be able to imitate it, but they do not have such information about music styles. That's why, they can not make such tools. Developers can only build general tools for general purposes.

What about Band in a Box? If it can be done with band music, it can be done with any music. The hard work is obtaining the right information and offering it to the software developers.

    Are you kidding?
    Developers don't have such capabilities.

    I'm sure you're kidding.
    They do not have either.
It doesn't matter what you call yourself. Doesn't change anything.
