send demos out to labels and then hope they pick your track up. discogs.com provides a good overview for your genres.

Seriously, why release through a label just for the sake of it ? Because that's what i understand when i read these words...

    My advice:

    - Make good music (you have very decent tracks but there's a way to go)
    - Build a following (labels are businesses and want to know if there's already a fanbase which will buy your releases)
    - Don't underestimate free music in early years (this will help you get your name out there thus have a following)
    - Make good music

cause i have 400 followers in Soundcloud but it means nothing when those who only use samples have thousands of FANs , an im so depressed aboat not being Famous :((((((((((((((

and HOw to release free music in a way that others come follow you?????

Well, Bandcamp is free, Facebook is free, so is Twitter. Build your own label (can also be done via Bandcamp).

Don't underestimate the work the have to do: Promoting your music on your own is a full time job - the music producing, the design, the public relations, the advertising...

Try to be a DJ as well, even if you start on a party with only ten people. Do it for free, improve, then upgrade to bigger venues. Do tutorials on Youtube. Write articles in your blog.

Specialize strictly on a special interest genre. Don't try to sell to millions, try building a fan base of 1,000 people, and you can live off your music.

You can also try to publish on Jamendo, and feature in one of their radios. Reverbnation is also way to go :mates:

Looool, what is that? Let's all start crying about not being famous, i'm sure they will put a new river on the map in no time :)))

Don't mind me, i'm just kidding, but if you were serious about that, i think you should get to your senses, that's a silly childish problem you have there.

Become friends with a lot of other bigger artist via soundcloud, internetdj, Indiana music, etc...and build up connections with artist. When your music reaches a certain echelon of polish and clarity you will have no problems getting in touch with a label.

    Hi Sonoora

First off, i dont think its a problem you are Persian and Iranian, never be afraid to be proud of who you are.

besides, music knows no borders!!! it is universal. and in todays digital age you can reach people a world away (like you have done in this forum)

everything said above is true, there is no easy way to become "famous" in music, you have to work hard, and promote yourself constantly, making connection to other people is essential to build relationships that can benefit yourself.

of course, you can pay for "likes" and followers, but it will leave you hollow

you have taken the right step in asking for help and networking!

good luck in all you do
