When i knew about the new update and possibly new design of AudioZ, i had the idea to tell a brief history of our beloved website. By brief i mean we will skip the different logo redesign to only tell the major renewal of AudioZ.

At the beginning in 2006, it was a guy named SAiNT who started a wordpress blog named Audio Community precisely May 21st 2006



He was the one who posted the most and helped by other good souls



This lasted until February 10th 2007 when the blog was targeted by hackers. Known for his flegme SAiNT said about this attack: "we are hacked because we are the best. Come back tomorrow".



As always AudioZ got back in a few days and with a new redesign



A new design that will help us get through roughly two years until that day of April 29th 2011 when we experienced a little domain problem



As usual, AudioZ got back and even stronger with a new face



From 2011 to 2014, we, as the AudioZ community that SAiNT got together, experienced highs and lows, uploader wars, moderators feuds, members temper tantrums and amazing gifts, countless polls which only aim was "how can we make this website better?". We even have a sister website Audiosex, a place where we discuss about what we like the most: Music.

This 14/01/14, once again AudioZ has gone under maintenance. Some were desperate, some curious and some excited as we know that our community only slows down to make a better jump



Let's see what 2014 got for us.

Both AudioZ and AudioSex have come a long way, baby.

Saint has been cool longer than i have whiskers and of course Catalyst has remolded AudioSex into a world class hangout for musicians to learn and share info, and made some truly amusing moments swinging the ban hammer on AudioZ

Just think, in the FUUTRZ AudioZ will be all holograms and lasers!

and, ANTI GRAVITY BEWBS!

Audioz and AudioSex are very relevant in my music making.
I mean there is a constant supply of inspiration, resources and knowledge coming from this feed,even when I m not that up, not to mention the experience.
The personal level of experience is great, involving new friends in the real world .
Maybe these sites contribute to change few things in unexpected ways.
Is it Audioz an history making agent?

 

I didn't know that. Back then i was in Senegal (West Africa) where i had no means to access decent music production tools then i found AudioZ. Since then i'm here and witnessing all this keeps my faith in humanity.

Between the last grey picture and the one from 2011, there was one more design.

When I registered in 2010, the site looked different.
Similar to the picture of 2011, but not the same.
