Two serial chains with 4 slots each
are sandwiching a 4x4 plugin matrix that can be used either

I really hope the X-Over filters of this are better than those from Bluecats mb7 (without side effects).
Then it really has a lot potential for me.

DDMF has released Superplugin , a plugin chaining plugin that aims to make plugin chaining easy.

Superplugin is, in many ways, a complementary plugin to Metaplugin. Using the same elaborate plugin chaining under the hood, Superplugin is the right choice when you quickly want to create simpler chains (although the built-in 4-band frequency splitter isn't exactly simple, of course...).

With a few clicks you can populate the plugin slots with all your favourite plugins, whether they come in VST, VST3 or AU format. Superplugin handles the routing for you, everything is automated as far as possible. If you've always wanted to create your own custom plugin chains but have been somewhat overwhelmed by all the options Metaplugin has to offer, Superplugin is happy to help you out.

Well, for once it was actually a dejá vù instead of a hangover or other... ahem... proteins,,,

 

if I didn't use Reaper, this would be a pretty handy utility plugin,
but with 5-band JS splitters/joiners and up to 64 channels per each track, I'm fine

 

is there a dxi one like meta and super?

 

greatest upgrade, also in REAPER 6.60 there is up to 1024x oversampling scripts support added for insanely unreal useless tasks (so, even 128x would be insanely enough), didn't try if it is possible for fx/chains, maybe yes, deep in scripts to activate it or so.
by the way, it is cool for majority DAWs, where various routing/plugin-chaining needed, plugin testing, oversampling options etc

 

Also moving settings across DAWs and sharing with people.

 

It would be great to use Ableton chains, if the rest of it wouldn´t suck this much
