Hi there. Im an amateur bedroom producer and im looking for friends in the uk who i can email and connect with regarding
perhaps collaboration and just general audio warez talk. I have some hardware and microphones, preamps compressors
guitars synths etc and i looooove audio plugins, i am junkie for them. i like all genres and i play acoustic, i sing
a bit (not well) and i play piano and synth a bit as well. I dont have any full songs just lots of idea and loops.

You have a lot of stuff I wouldnt feel like I m bringing as much to the table. I am especially jealous of the chair. Definitely my next studio purchase.
Anyhow, what sort of music are you into? I mean for creation purposes...

    Mine does :bleh:

Man Im so pro with my swiveling chair :grooves:
Unfortunatly I think the chair will collapse in near future... I also need a new chair. Maybe one with arm-rests. That would be some damn professional. I mean I could just lay my arms on the arm-rests, how cool would that look? Pretty damn professional cool *yes*

What a difference a picture makes. Imagine if there wasn't a photo of his room, I wonder if there would have been so much interest?

Myself included - I'm kinda curious about that wicker waste bin on the far right, full of... socks? Gloves? Underpants?!

The mind boggles. Oh your studio looks lovely by the way, very homely and warm. Sorry I don't live in that area but hey, there's probably tons of talented like-minded people all around you.

I do wonder about the huge wooden dildo on the floor and the basket with S/M clothing?...

And how the f can you mix anything properly on these speakers and with these acoustics... why not having one proper pair of speakers and some bass traps? Sorry if I sound pretentious, it was not my aim. I have a proper setup for recordin, mixing and mastering and I can still be very creative with it. This is obviously just a creative setup. Nothing wrong with that. :)

Hi people. I use Reaper DAW which is the first one I really learned to use since migrating from playing around with REASON. Reaper does not support VST3
so for those apps like VocAlign I use a copy of Cubase 5 LE which came with my zoom h4n field recorder. The basket with the socks were all the ones with
the holes in that i found in the drawer and should not have been in the picture LOL. The monitors are Mackies and they sit ontop of some old crap stereo
speakers which are not plugged in, only to get the head height of my ears. the monitors are resting on sponge. Im a guitar player songwriter first and
have come into the production side of things because of being a computer nerd also. I subscribe to soundonsound and computer music magazine. I love everything
to do with vintage equipment and mixing desks and how things color the sound, tube valve stuff etc and old microphones. the sort of things i like to do is
layered vocals and acoustic/electric piano stuff. I like to have a go at everything and im recently learning more in depth stuff about reaper. i like bands
like radiohead, massive attack, william orbit, pink floyd, but i like complextro and hiphop and anything that is good. i like alot of 80s sounding retro stuff.
I really like being creative and just want to make friends with other rat warez audio producers....
my top fav plugin gotos are:

soundtoys radiator (damn i want that new stereo pan one that is free, i have ilok key but unsure if it will clash with my AiR stuff...)
softube tubetech CL 1B (for vocals oh sexeh)
waves c1 mono gate (for vocals! its the only gate i know...)
valhalla vintage verb (all valhallas rock!)
    softube dyna-mite
    loomer resound
    speakerphone
    nebula (love it....)
    izone 5
ezkeys upright piano (midi in from my clav)
    piano in blue

here is a little half finished demo with a one take vocal with mumbles.... im not a singer im just a have a go hero

some loop i was messing around with. i put the acoustic an a vocal through an old 70s radio and recorded it with my akg c414

Stress for a while due to running a business! now my creative juices are starting to flow again in the lockdown.

Hello all! if anyone wants to add my skype is mark.oox I mainly want to chat about vst plugins/recording gear/equipment and recording techniques for vocals, I don't have any collab ideas going at the moment but I am just getting my head back into it all.

I do strive for the modern professional sound. I have a good ear. hit me up folks.

out of all the older plugins I have I love softube/nebulae/ozone and I just grabbed the new TBProAudio with the DESQ (great for the delta)
