I've installed the r2r and bobdule versions but still have crashes;
on the .exe and when I tried to open the soft in Fl Studio.

I've even placed the "NativeAcess.xml" on
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center\

It's glitched bro, that version is messed up no matter what you do.
I also recently tried to install both the R2R and Bobdule versions on a NEW windows 11 laptop, no matter what I did I couldn't get it to work.
So I downloaded R2R's Kontakt 6.6.1 and it works perfectly.

No patch needed just install, then download their Kontakt Manager app to unlock your libraries.
Extremely quick and easy

 

Bobdule's version works like a charm for me. One thing I've noticed is that it crashes after install until you reboot Windows. From that no problems.
I also gather for some people it doesn't work at all.

 

6.7.1 working fine here both VST2 and VST3. Win11 21H2

Not a single issue since update. Added my 3TB libraries collection to it and it opens old projects and everything.

 

vkDanilov's portable 6.7.1 works for me, other versions would crash.

 

Kontakt need this regedit key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Shared
uret-machine-id xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxx

no more generated by kontakt since v6.7.0
you have to launch kontakt 6.6.1 or native access to generate this key
or it will crash kontakt at the opening.

the info is reported everywhere but people don't read the solution.

I dont know , what is a regedit Key, and how do i do that ? I Just want to use my Kontakt , Cubase chrashes every time i Open an instance of Kontakt .

Install bobdule and replace Kontakt.dll from r2r version into your vst folder. This worked for me.

 

You mean Install Bob Dule Version and Patch and then replace only the Kontakt.dll ?

 

i have tried that, but then you use the R2R Version with no self generated Librarys .
i want to use the Bob Dule Version .

 

ive tested this too , Massive works like charm , but Kontakt is still crashing my Cubase ....oh hell , ive got a huge problem here...

 

after many miserable attempts to install Kontakt crash-free, I've reached a point where I'm at a complete loss.

the last attempt was to install bob dule contact 6.6.1 to open this once and simply install contact 6.7.1.
Unfortunately Cubase still crashes randomly when I open a Kontakt instance.

the curious thing is that I now occasionally get an error message that was never seen before.

 

For things like these I like even more no install versions... despite being very experienced with Kontakt I found the registry trick by pure accident.

 

Hi bobdule, I have your Kontakt 6.6.1 installed (so the regedit key is here). Do I have to uninstall it before installing your 6.7.1 version ? Thanks in advance for the answer.

 

I have tried both options, unfortunately both do not work for me without problems.

 

Both r2r and bobdule used to crash my Ableton. Now that I think, honestly do not remember which .dll I used. From r2r or bobdule version.
But one thing I'm sure is I replaced one of them in the other.
For now, just install bobdule V6.7.1 and before patching, replace the .dll from r2r version. Now Patch it with bobdule patcher.

If it did not work, I'd unintall my whole kontakt and figure it what exactly I did.
The library generator pops up, when I want to manage libraries. It is just nicht generator within bobdule installation pack. From there You can run it separately. Nothing special

Otherwise i must Install the r2r Kontakt 6.7.1 , Copy the Files in another folder to have Them Just there for the replace process or ?
