    Hey everyone
I got a Question: Is there any Dynamic Pan out there?
I mean, with the same mechanics as a sidechain, is there a plugin that leaves the center when another signal comes through? or something that goes R/L or viceversa, or whatever I want? I found only Pans that move R/L based with an LFO

I hope this Question is not that obvious, I've spent many time looking for this kind of plugin but have not found anything like I describe yet.

what you want is that for example
Is there a piano playing and when another instrument starts playing, does the piano go to the right or to the left?

look at this, maybe you can do the same, but with pan instead of volume

You can adjust L/R and M/S for the sidechain in FirComp 2. I never tried this feature but it should work.

Yep, or even a solo instrument that starts in the center and when the voice or any other source comes in, it moves, but when that source goes away, that solo instruments gets back to its original panning position

Edit: Alternatively a lot of compressors give you the choice to compress only one side, that'll give you some panning effect but since pan laws work differently it won't be the same as the pan on the pan knob. Could be enough though.

you could gate left or right with sidechain. in reaper i think it would work.

    you say something like this?

If so... you can do it with TrackSpacer 2.5, in sidechain you can select right or left, you can also adjust the frequency

I think this has been asked before. I'll answer with the same answer.
You can assign an envelope follower to a pan parameter on a plugin (like a channel strip).

    Hey Guy how are you?
I don't know if it still finds what you were looking for.
But I just tried a plugin on the sister site that I think is exactly what you're looking for.
    It's called "Enery Panner".
I always try everything or almost everything that appears on the sister site. And just when I tasted it I remembered you.

It's a vst with a theshold for panning and it has the sidechain option, so when a new sound comes in it goes left or right or you can play with the movement. I think that is exactly what you are looking for.
Well, I hope you see this message and if not it will be for someone else who needs something like you.
    Cheers!
