i need your opinion, for the following. I have an 2019 27imac running catalina perfectly for the last year. I am considering to upgrading OS X to monterey. Whats your opinion do you have any problems with c..ked plugins or applications like crossover - audiogridder. Or anything that decrease the performance?

I'm considering taking the plunge.. have been on Catalina since I got my computers and didn't want to lose any k'd / older software.

Have the same model and been happy on Catalina, however with applications like FCPX and Logic now requiring newer macOS, plus some new features I would like such as being able to use my old MBP as a second monitor, I think I'll upgrade.

Did you end up upgrading? Also if anyone else has done this please let me know your experience.

They are still both intel. Any "older" plugins ( older, to you guys ) would already not work at Catalina. You still need only the same things BatChmod, Permissions Reset2, Codesigner, and OSX Validate All AU's.

there's nothing cool in Monterey (except mandatory Apple M1 compatibility),
Catalina is fine, I'd stick with that on Intel Macs
