I would like reactions to reactions. So that if I post something and you disagree, I can disagree with your disagreement and cancel out your disagreement back into neutrality.

I suppose then it would only be fair that you'd like to react back at my reaction to your reaction, in which case disagreement would be the most logical course of action; it is rather unlikely that you'd want to agree with me disagreeing about your disagreement. Thus, after disagreeing that I disagree with your original disagreement, we arrive back where we started: with you disagreeing with me.

Feel free to... disagree with my post.

Undecided / Impartial emoji would be reasonable.
- A set of balanced scales would suffice to represent those.

Two recent suggestions are rejected by Xupito's focus group.

Let's face it: this thumb up/down culture is destroying the debate: we are not even looking for a dialogue anymore, we just want likes (or dislikes) to confirm our existence in life.
It is an absolutely understandable behavior, but beyond this judgment it would be nice a dialogue to be added as well.
I personally hate receiving dislike without an explanation: it is a missed confrontation that maybe it could have deepened the topic, but it didn't happen.

 

These were exactly my thoughts. That is why I suggest expanding the categories with "trendy" and maybe a "best bean." or a "monkey (or chicken) brained."
Anyway, the enormous response of all your invaluable ideas for true improvement really should be motive for action.

Maybe an icon for "it needs more cowbell"

 

- An icon meaning "I have absolutely nothing to say about this" representing a dudess / a dude with a lot of tape on her/his mouth.

- An icon meaning "I'm so saaad!", "you make me sad", or "crying a river"...

(Seriously, there's a serious lack of icons to express sadness / depression / despair / end of world, as this is absolutely paramount for death metal fans, gothics, dark emos, zombies and other vampires...)

- Other case: a sincere "RIP" emoticon could be very useful to express our grief when a great musician, producer or DJ pass away... For example, today Vangelis have leaved this world, I would loved to have a non-verbal way to express how I miss this guy...)

"Non-verbal" should be our motto today, sometimes a little thingie, a sign, a symbol, is far, far more accurate and more expressive than any word, I think moderators should take this need into account.
