Xils Lab Stix glitch?

    How can I stop Stix's sequencer playing? I want to write my own midi track but the sequencer starts playing every time I press start in Ableton. I have done automation for Play and Stop in Stix but it doesn't work. Any suggestion, please.
    The only solution I see is to create an empty pattern in Stix but it is not what I want to.

    Lower right corner play/stop/record pattern buttons next to the keyboard. Then click the gear icon in the top right and set key bindings you want to use in midi settings.

    Do you mean Gear Icon/Misc/Open MIDI Keyb Settings? No. You mean Gear Icon/Open MIDI Setting Panel/Parameter...and MIDI Controller. Probably it is the most effective way for this device. I have tried to use automation for SeqPlay value 0.25 and it looks working quite well. I am testing it now.
    Thank you for enlightening :wink: and showing me those settings. The setting is not straightforward in Stix.
