hey guys I'm making a thead after long time,
the thing is recently I downloaded nucleus and I deleted it thinking it is not for me. then I downloaded Cinematic Studio Strings and then it sounds different than I expected. so I am a noob in it. I don't know what I need so I download and delete multiple things.

the thing is I want emotional strings so I don't know where to start. my good to go cello is emotional cello. but then I am looking for emotional strings if that exists. also I d/led virharmonics bohemian violin but don't know how to activate it, so I feel like a noob here. this might be a good name to attract users from sis site also.

BTW let me get back to topic.

I've seen people like Daniel James using css most of the times so either I'm doing something wrong or I'm just an ultra noob.

lately I got a chance to work with metaverse project so I'm making music for it. so I do usual stuff like drones and Atmos pads and prog. house/ trance stuff. but then I remembered the orchestra, so I tried making something with it and it was somewhat hearable so I went back on a leeching spree to leech all the stuff. I would like to learn and experiment a lot so it would be great if you guys can suggest some stuff for orchestral sketching. BTW I'm leeching action strings 2 tonight. I tried some minified Albion ,la modern perc etc, but I'm not going anywhere with it. usually I make piano chords and then I start building on it. but it's just I don't know why not working with strings.I might be confused but then I use orchestra 2 and then I get somewhere so I don't know where to go. so kindly give advices and everything.

Hmm...is it the sounds themselves or the melodies not being emotional enough for you? I guess I'm wondering whether you play your own music or if you are using riffs and pieces of songs that are pre-written and included in the program. Because you can make almost any instrument or sound emotional if you know how to write it. I can't, but other people can. I'm not sure if you are looking for loops and samples that are emotional or something that makes a keyboard sound like strings so you can play your own emotional music through

 

Why do you delete things like the libraries you already downloaded? You should keep them anyway, unless you are running out of storage space. I agree with @Buhdurkachomp, any nice stringed instrument can sound emotional if it is played that way.

But keep your downloaded instruments. Just because they are not exactly what you expect, doesn't mean one day you will find a perfect spot to use them for

 

I try to do both, I'm not looking for samples actually I use my own midi stuff and some others to see if this is what I can work with. I guess you're right that I don't know how to write to make it more emotional
