Just noticed my new Plugin Alliance loyalty vouchers for this month now have a vatly increased minimum spend!!!
Guess the happy days are over! :-(

 

You don't need the vouchers anymore when they offer Forever 29. It honestly makes sense that way. It's cheaper to buy their products now.

 

Yep, I think they want to push the Forever 29 subscription massively.

 

But only since they've raised the minimum spend at the beginning of this year. Before that you could buy their pluggies for way less than $30.
On balance, for me PA has raided the prices by more than 100%. That's why I haven't bought anything from them this year (other than the years before).

 

Imo they made a mistake and are now trying to fix it. You can buy the vertigo comp for 19,99$ today.

 

whole soundwide / company being bought thing has me a little worried. rarely does that equate to an improvement on the model

 

They said they will continue to offer good flash deals etc that don't require a voucher, and have done so, including the current Vertigo deal. There's benefits now because you don't have to wait a year for their new stuff to come down in price...

And don't forget the mega sales, next sale should be the 29th of this month (as the vouchers expire on the 28th), so we'll see what they do for that under their new management.

 

Does that mean you can no longer licence transfer two plugins for $7?

 

You can't use a $25 loyalty voucher for that anymore no - best for license transfers is the $20 mega sale vouchers... (if we still get them)

Well this is a total bs from PA. They make so much money and now shit on their own customers. It will backfire.
