Arturia launches V Collection 9 incl. KORG MS-20 V, SQ80 V, Augmented Strings & Voices

Arturia has introduced the latest version of its premium suite of professional software instruments ranging from modern hybrid synth engines to emulations of the most evocative instruments ever made.

Now featuring a total of 32 instruments, V Collection 9 brings 4 new instruments, 4 rebuilt instruments, 14,000 presets, 14 exclusive new sound banks, NKS compatibility, smart macro controls, and in-app tutorials.

Hello my friend !! A question please . . . I have years to use Arturias synths and i want to ask if these new versions with TAE tech are better sounding ... ? Which of them do you recommend ? Their new effects are most of them very good for me and i wonder if the same happens with its instruments . Also on audioz versions is it possible to install the ones i like ? Thank you !

Interesting that they would release an emulation of the MS-20 when Korg already released its own.
The same goes for the Roland synths by the way.

 

Prophet V example:
TAE technology (True Analog Emulation) is the algorithm, it guarantees an authentic emulation from the original Vintage Analog Prophet V to the Virtual Digital Prophet V on the computer. TAE also solves the problem of aliasing.

I made some soundsets that I liked very much, here is the list:

Everyone has different tastes, so everyone should test for themselves which Arturia product they like. All Arturia instruments and effects are state of the art and represent the latest research and feasibility.
What pleases the one sound, pleases the next no longer, so you can not make a statement. With emulations, the opinions, how far he meets the original, go far apart. Some come very close to the original and some are further away from emulating the original.

I don't know how the teams will do it, we'll see.

I wonder if Arturia pays money to Korg? Surely Korg has legally protected its product MS-20.

They have improved the product. What Arturia added:
