Are we asking the right questions? Sometimes.
    Are we missing something? Always.
What does this all mean? It means that there are more than enough wonderful challenges to keep us busy using our sharpest, most reliable intellectual tools, without shooting ourselves in the foot using pseudo-science, pseudo-philosophy, or doolally mysticism from both ancient and modern sources.

You are a very gullible person. Well, if it's there, it's probably true. That is faith and not knowledge.
Bad is also the religious fanatics, other people accuse they would be unbelievers.
See also the madness of the holy war. Holy and war do not fit together at all.

the field is entangled, but observation proves it is not, with an increasing degree of certainty. i think you are reading too much into the concept. the behavior is still subject to conservation, it is just very fast (at the limits of observation) and possibly masked by other factors. this gives an appearance of illusion, but is predictably and observably, not. i am pretty sure it is measurable, but i do not know for sure. it is certainly theoretically predicted. these fields require our local wave emitter (the sun, a star) to be observable. hail RA creator of the heavens and earth.

i don't think schrodinger told us that.

these matters are not about questions -- they are about observation.

it means we are ultimately, cosmically, royally screwed except for this brief, beautiful, flicker of a candle.

unless you regularly play around with sub-atomic particles this is not a concern. what is being observed has always been happening, only the understanding of the mechanics will change. a little bit of understanding never hurt anyone.

You're right. Most people are just interested in using the way, not building it. Roads are made by a few people, and many people only use them. Now this way whatever it wants to be, just be the way.
    The same for music:
Music genres themselves are ways made by very few, and many just move in these ways and don't make other new ways.

Since the Universe (according to modern physics and astronomy) seems to be heavily based on mathematics, maybe even consisting of mathematic entities (or entities expressing mathematic entities through their form), and all the processes in Universe might be considered just as constant addition of values (think of calculus) in a matrix, it might be considered something that functions similar to a computer simulation.
So if the Universe is projected, programmed and implemented by some entity by applying mathematics in some sort of a cybernetic machine (most probably an entity based on cybernetic principles too), it might be called GOD (meaning: creator of the Universe).

modern physics and astronomy categorically state the Universe is solely based on mathematics. it consists of mathematical entities that express mathematics through their form, and all the processes in Universe are constant addition of values in a matrix, it is known to functions exactly the same as a computer simulation.

the Universe is projected, programmed and implemented by an entity -- applying mathematics while operating a cybernetic machine based on cybernetic principles -- called GOD, the creator of the Universe.

    --checkmate believers. read and weep.

--well, that cleared that up. who would have thought. it was right under our noses when you think about it.

--see you all in the next thread.

The requirement for this discussion was to separate god and religion. What you are writing here is just the plain dumb storybook written by humans, which works with threats and fear to make other people compliant so that you work for them and their interests. So you are doing the exact opposite of what was required here as a basis for discussion - you mix god and religion.
Do yourself a favor and set yourself free.

Point me to a place when "physics" or "astronomy" categorically state it's all maths?

Surprise surprise, it's not. Mathematics is a tool, but it solely lives in an abstract realm unlike reality. People tried to prove and define all maths and failed. Look up first "Principia Mathematica" (the effort) and then "Incompleteness" (by Kurt Gödel) and see where this gets ya.

Even a simpler system, one closer to us, such as music can't be somehow quantified. There's a reason why we alter tunings a lot and have settled on a compromise, and why we don't do Pythagorean tunings any more though it's mathematically "perfect".

I´m not a Spiritual person, i´m a Man beliving in Science, in Physics and Chemicals also in Biologic events.
That´s why i can not belive in a God in the "Classic" way. For me, the Universe is God ! The Universe have born all Stars and Galaxy´s we are living in. We are now able to see more and more of this Universe and as more we can see the more reminds us that the Universe seems to be a bit like a Liveform, maybe with it´s own mind. So we are a litle part of the Universe, and this way we also a part of "God". So beliving in a God is beliving in our self....

Unfortunately, there is no tangible memory in the physical world. Living beings are only part of the material world that has memory. If the physical world had memory, we could easily see the impact of time on phenomena and examine them. But unfortunately, in raw matter and energy, there is no such thing as memory.

Man is the only being in the universe who has used his memory efficiently and studied the universe and its events.

Phenomena occur in the world of matter without the presence of awareness. The ingredients of the world have no knowledge of what is happening to them. For example, when two hydrogen atoms are combined with an oxygen atom and form water, these three atoms have no knowledge of this happening and they don't know why they're combined at all.

Material life does not have sufficient consciousness and has no will in existence and non-existence and changes in themselves.

Why isn't the sky purple and the grass blue. Why does the polar bear have white fur and not live in the desert?

Because everything is made so that it is beautiful and works, everything has its place where it belongs.
In this earth are so many raw materials that man can heat with it and with the oil can even run a motor.
There is iron, gold, rare earths, topsoil and much more. Drinking water and enough to eat offers this planet.

Boredom does not exist, we have creative brains that invent something like musical instruments or we shoot a
movie with a plot. Sometimes we fall in love with something, although love is not a measurable state, love exists.

A beautiful sunrise or a full moon night. We like to look up at the stars and wonder where we come from.
Every human being has his own gene code and fingerprints. Man needs other people and likes to talk,
he laughs, he cries, he sometimes screams and at night he sometimes dreams things that do not exist.

The pyramids of Giza, the shark, the falcon, our vegetable and fruit cultivation with good looking - good
tasting fruits. Our birth and childhood and our independence to find our way in the world is all a miracle.

Everything only coincidence? It looks more like a divine plan.

Actually the Earth used to be purple and plants used to be a lot more blue and red than they are now, even nearly black. Some of them still are.

Ursus Maritimus could have been a different color but it would have just made it harder to catch seals. It probably started as a different color but settled on white because it is the most cute color for a bear. I mean West Highland terriers, Poodles and Bichon Frises are the kings of cute so why not. Besides when was the last stime Santa Claus gave a grizzly bear or a brown a Coca-cola.... White bear privilege.

As for the rest, to each his own and whatever helps people sleep at night.

One time I dropped acid (ive done it 30+ times) while watching a fractal zoom video listening to some ambient music and came to the realization that nature is math. Math is not a tool, it is an explanation of nature. The question I asked myself is "did we learn math from nature or did we come up with math to try and explain nature"... this thought along with the classic Sagan quote that "we are a way for the universe to know itself" had me tripping for awhile. I am still stuck on this question of math as it relates to nature. I take it we will never know.

this is explained by math and chemistry. The real question is why is it that those particular particles/chemicals make the sky blue or the grass green... Do we only think that having purple skies and blue grass is "weird" because we collectively only know blue skies and green grass?? I am by no means smart enough to come up with answers, but I feel I am smart enough to ask the right questions.
