Hi and Greetings I try to remake this song cause i have a bet with a friend ^^. But its hart to find out how to make this vocal sound at 0:35 and crazier at 2:43.

Have tried some formant filters from several synth´s. but i can´t reach this level.
is this made with an access virus -> vowel filter and a specific wavetable?

some tips would be great.

Vowel filter. Look into the vowel filter (phaser) in Spire, with for example a vocal waveform (WT).
Yes. As you said. It is fairly easy to re-create. Automate the vowel frequency (cutoff), glide time, etc.

 

Vital is another option: it has 2 formant vowel filters, and a vocoder effect in the wavetable section. And you can also use a specific wavetable with vowel sounds and morph between the diferent vowels. I really think you can get pretty close.
