I'm talking about EZdrummer 2 here, for starters, not the just released EZdrummer 3.

When installing expansions, do you have to use the installer .exe or .msi file, or can you simply copy the contents of the EZHOME folder to the EZdrummer sound library location?

I guess what I'm asking is does the .exe/.msi install anything else, such as registry entries etc, or is it simply an executable copying the contents automatically for the user, saving the user to manually copy?

I made a no install version of EZDrummer 2 after installing the usual way.
I can tell you there's no registry entries for every library, only globals like EZDHOME etcetera
What I don't know is what possible file changes (MIDI files, database) occurs when you add one.

    Edited:
    There you go
