What sounds are these for anime (bass and bells)?

Anyone knows how to achive these sounds? Either through synthesis or old ROMpler presets? These are typically used in anime.

The bass at 0:13 and onwards.

The high bells used at 0:59

    Would really appreciate that.

Not really an expert, but I'd suggest searching among Roland's sound modules and synth sounds.

I don't hear any bells, but if you mean the high pitched six notes before the chorus at 0:54 - I think those are high string/orchestra "hits" or "stabs". Probably named something like that..

That bass sounds like a popular Moog bass using square waves. I don`t hear any bells though.

Perhaps Yamaha sound modules too as they were quite popular in Japan.

Sorry, the second link was wrong, it's another video. I just edited the first post.

I don't know if it can be described as bells but clearly is a high pitched type of dreamy sound, almost like electric piano but I don't think it's that.

Thanks for the moog sugestion. I'm not with my proper monitoring speakrs right now but with my phone souds kinda similar. Will check later. Thanks.

Sounds like an electric piano ma dude, you can check for electric piano presets on Korg Triton, Xpand2, OPS7, Roland Cloud (you might find something on Zenology lite) or whatever plugin emulating an 80s synth.

My guess would be these old synths:
    Roland JV-1080 or XV-5080
    E-MU Proteus 2000 or E-MU MoPhatt
    Korg Trinity/Triton
    Kurzweil K2000/K2500/K2600

First is Classic Orchestra Hit (Also used in digitations and many other Digimon series )

(sorry read the bass line a bit late)
Bass sounds a lot like Kapus-Strong with Filter and Chorus

    Second is simple FM synthesis

The bells could be anything from D50, JV or JD series, Tritons, EMU modules or Kurzweil.. They don’t sound like DX bells in my opinion.

If it doesn't fall into the Bells classification? Does it fall into the mallets classification? Or do you have another opinion?
Because it sounds like high pitched bells + epiano...

Incidentally I'm also looking for a sound like that on VSTi or Kontakt Libraries...

    Thanks in advance

    OMG... Fantasia...
I've used a sound like that before... But I forgot the brand of the keyboard,, and the name too...
    Thank you for showing

Is there any emulation in the form of Kontakt Library or VSTi?

Speaking about the real Roland Keyboard...
Is buying a secondhand Roland D-50 right now worth it? Or is there a new Roland that includes Fantasia sounds but at an inexpensive price?

    Thanks in advance

Roland has a D-50 VST that's.. "okay" and JV-1080/XV-5080 VSTs that are quite terrible but will do the job in a pinch.
The Japanese love Roland (understandably) and seem to prefer it to Yamaha (though not always) and especially Korg when it comes to anime/game soundtracks (as far as digital instruments are concerned anyway, for acoustic instruments you'll struggle to find anything other than Yamahas, maybe the odd Rhodes or so)

You'll probably have more luck with the JV/XV/SRX VSTs, same for OP.

Mh, here they are sold for 400 - 800€. Keep in mind that the keybed and the display degrade over time. Nothing that can't be fixed but at extra cost and you better know how to do this.

They claim that their cloud version has all the original sounds.

400-800€ for a D-50 definitely doesn't seem right, they go for ~300€ give or take here and there are always at least a dozen on sale around that price. You can even find them for sub 200 if you're willing to deal with a broken keybed and aftertouch.

The SRX VSTs have "all" the sounds.. Unless those sounds use Spectrasonics samples.
