    SSL seems to have listened to user & potential customer feedback by adding new features to the UF8 Firmware & SSL 360° along with bug fixes.

    Seriously considering a purchase now.

    THe UC1 is great because the plugins you control with are top notch. A bit pricey though.

    Also waiting for some type of sale. Does come with Channel Strip 2, Bus Comp 2 and the 360 app. For the work flow & customization, I am really seeing a UC1/UF8 x 2 in my future. Unless of course something else comes along in the meantime. definitely more functionality than a Faderport 16.

    As for SSL owning Avid. It would be interesting. Would they do away with the proprietary AAX only scheme and allow use of AU/VST(3) (Pro Tools & DSP hardware)?
