Hi all,
I've tried everything but after a while I've opened kontakt or 6.7 or 6...it crashes and studio one 5 reopen in error mode...
This happen with vst3 or vat2 version of kontakt 6....
Someone knows a solution?

Try delete "C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\PreSonus\Studio One 5\x64" folder and start Studio One only with Kontakt VST2 or VST3. See if it works.

 

very thnks...now it seems ita doesnt crash during the activity.....
even if qhen i close studio one ...the prog doesnt close and i've to terminate the program to esxit...than studio one reopen with the screen of
error...
any other suggestion for this?

nope....it has given again a problem of crash....now i've tried to disable CUDA acceleration forn NVIDIA panel for Studio one 5...
i've read that can be a cause of crashing....
someone has resolved a similar problem?

Well, I'd try to start studio one without 3rd party plugins. It shouldn't crash and should close properly. If not, uninstall Studio one and clean your pc by deleting all studio one folder (make backups of important folders). Good tool to find any files, folders, etc. is "Everything"

Legal Kontakt or Pirate Kontakt?
I had problems with a version of kontakt, but it was not legitimate

 

Tried reinstalling studio one5 but nothing to do... Crashes continues....
Yes kontakt ia not legit... Ive tried various version

 

Nownit seems I've resolved!!.... I've activated Plugin Nap on stuio one... And now no more crashes and error exiting from studio one!...
I'll continue testing again a bit and then i tell you....

however i've found again some crashing...
so i've tried setting to single processing (32bit) under audio option.... (before it was setted at double 64bit).

now studio one doesnt crash when i close the song.

i'll continue to test anyway.

 

After doing that, S1 won't show some VST plugins there were in a list before, and says "There are missing devices blah blah ..."
Should I reinstall the program?

 

So you have fresh Installed Studio One 5 now ?
I assume you have all your 3d party plugins in a "external vst folder" , wich is created by you.

If that´s the case ,I would do the following:

-Do n o t define the "external vst folder" in Studio One yet !
-run Studio one just with its own plugins, and see if everything works properly.

-If so , make a NEW , EMPTY " 3d party external folder" in windows explorer.
-Run Studio One and add this new location (So-Options-vstplugin)
and delete the "old external vst folder" -location.

-Now put your 3dparty plugin -one- at- a- time , into this new location, in windows explorer.
( I know thats heavy if u have a load of 3dplugin , if u don´t suspect a group of plugins , then maybe drag over that whole group, but u could "miss" the culprit)
- Run Studio One and let the plugin-scanner scan the newly added 3dparty plugin.
-See if everything works properly.

Alternate,- you could just (only) drag in Kontakt ( wich u suspect to be the culprit) into the "new 3dparty external folder" and test if Studio One crashes.

Actually, I just didn't noticed that the plugin location setting had been cleaned... oh dear!
So, it solved. But there is a plugin that won't show up on all version of S1.
I will try and keep your method in my mind.
