Post songs that jerk your tears or bring out emotion against your will every time you hear them. Explain why it brings out your emotions or what it reminds you of, if you can. But you don't have it because it's hard to explain why some things make you swallow hard.
    I'll start.

Deron Miller (of CKY) has an unplugged version of Close Yet Far by CKY (Camp Kill Yourself) which hits me in as much feels as the original always has. Even more so now that I'm an adult than when I was a young teen thrashing up the streets and shaving skin increments off my ass thanks to the pavement back when I used to skate. The lyrics just hit different nowadays since they crawl in further than before.
    Original:

CKY is the band that Bam Margera's (skateboarder) brother Jess Margera (drummer) is in so you may be familiar with it if you watched Viva La Bam or Jackass back in the day.

I liked both songs but the first song is very beautiful! I really love that one.
Why do you love it? Does it bring back a time in your life for you?

These two made me cry often even before understanding the lyrics. And the lyrics didn't disappoint... just wow
Crash Test Dummies - Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm

    Pearl Jam-Jeremy

And one of my beloved Nightwish. Just gorgeous.
    Nightwish - Dead Boy's Poem

All three of them are tear jerkers both from musical and lyrics standpoints.

This song because I quite literally lived through the lyrical content in this song in real life.

I understood the first song less than the other two. Jeremy by Pearl Jam is something I've heard on the radio tons of times but this time watching the video and description of the song hit me different as I had no idea it was a song for school shooters and the like. I've always been a Pearl Jam fan!

Nightwish was a beautiful song too but I've never been a fan of those types of bands but was friends with a girl that was a huge fan of gothic rock/metal with orchestral elements like that. Still the credit is due since I did like the song you posted! What makes these songs special for you, if you don't mind sharing?

The first one ("Mmmmm...") is not easy to understand because the lyrics use kind of a mix of sarcasm and metaphors.
It's against child physical abuse by parents that also force them to make excuses for the marks and bruises. The "mmmm..." chorus would mean "I don't know, I think I don't buy those excuses, those were marks of his parents hitting him". The second one is inspired by two real tragedies. One of them was a troubled child that committed suicide blowing his head off with a gun at class.
I guess it's not for everyone but part of it is because there's few bands like this, so a bit of "warming up" is highly advised. But Nightwish is in my all-time top 4. I'm an old-school metalhead but my top 1 band is Queen, so... This one is fully poetic with the lyrics. Starts as a ballad with a twist at the middle.
To be honest, I have to repeat what I said before. All three of them make me cry, or almost, because of the gorgeous and emotional music. Didn't know or understand the lyrics until years later. So I'll talk about only the music.
"Mmmmm" is beautiful, sweet and melancholic. Could have been a sad ballad in my mind
"Jeremy" is brutally angsty and also gorgeous, Raw emotions.
"Dead's boy poem" is gorgeous and also melancholic. The guitar, the voice. And those passages with the child speaking, that's genius composing for me. It should be done more if you ask me.

Well, Metallica did it too in its famous "Enter Sadman". Cheers ;)

PS. I changed the first with a lyrics included one.
PS2. While I'm at it I'll post a live version of "Dead's boy poem" with their current singer. They're extremely good live

Brings me weeping like a toddler everytime. I don't know why, I never even played any Legend of Zelda game.
