Do you know if one can simply download any of the Steinberg VSTis and/or Halion libraries from the Steinberg website and they will work in R2R C12 or not? I am talking eg. Steinberg Poly, Steinberg Wave but also any of their Halion libraries.

I heared they dont (since they'd still need e-licenser) but then I get confused by this quote from R2R Silk emu nfo:
'Tips for advanced users:
Since this is a true emulator, all legit Silk powered apps (installed by legit installer) would work
if you place our emulator DLL to legit Silk DLL path.
Our Steinberg releases are patched (and re-signed) just to make compatible with legit installation.'

So where would the legit Silk DLL path of the installed VSTis be??


If it doesnt work without e-licenser: does anyone run R2R C12 alongside e-licenser emu without any problems?

Also at least the Halion libraries should work in R2R's Halion Sonic SE 3, right? I assume Halion is 'unlocked' or do the individual libraries still need e-licenser? If that is the case: should one download them using the Steinberg Download Manager?

And lastly assuming that only Silk powered apps will work (without having to install e-licenser) how can one tell which these are? I can not find this info on the Steinberg site. Eg. is Steinberg Poly and Steinberg Wave a Slik app or not?

 

You can download anything from the sister site where the extension is R2R. R2R = the software is cracked and working.

ok thx but not even the Halion libs will work when downloaded form steiny site?

 

So far all the libraries I've downloaded through Steinberg Download Assistant work fine within (Steinberg.Cubase.Pro.12.v12.0.10.R2R) and (Steinberg.HALion.Sonic.SE.3.v3.5.10.R2R)

The Libraries that I've download so far and working fine are:
4Knob PopD
4Knob Upright
Amped Elektra
Electric Bass
Iconica Opus
TGuitar
MGuitar
Olympus Choir Elements
Content HALion 6

So I guess the rest of the libraries may work too as long as you're using (Steinberg.HALion.Sonic.SE.3.v3.5.10.R2R) to play them inside (Steinberg.Cubase.Pro.12.v12.0.10.R2R)

you can download all libraries (about 386gb) and all works fine!
after download, remove e-licenser in control panel and residual files in wow directory or e-licenser will eat 150Mb ram for nothing (you do not need elicenser runing with r2r version)
