    Another great music legend left us :(

    For those of you who don't know the Everly Brothers: they had a very big impact on pop music.
    They were a huge influence for The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel and the Bee Gees, just to name a few.

    Phil was the younger one of the two, who sang all the higher parts, standing on the left in the video I linked.

    Thank you for all the beautiful harmonies.

    You know I don't think I ever really payed much attention to them before reading this,I'd heard songs of theirs before but never really examined it.Really listening to it there is a oneness with their harmonies that's just lovely.Personally I think "All I have to do is dream" is beautiful and timeless(even though it's practically the theme song for the 50's),so simple yet so impacting.I just read a cbs article that said The Beatles, early in their career, once referred to themselves as "the English Everly Brothers." And Bob Dylan once said, "We owe these guys everything. They started it all."
