WOW FL studio 21 is around the corner ,

They have teased some of new features in their USER forum.

What you'll think about this ? I'm pretty much excited !

New Theme , Clip gain , Fade in/out , Etc

IMPORTANT :-To achieve this ,They have Re-Programed the Core of the software Code from scratch to make it more stable to add new feature etc. Which were hard to implement in previous software code due to code complexity overall ,as The admin have Said in the User Forum.

This is the latest thing they have Said in user forum ADMIN:- "we are still working on menus, icons, workflow and stuff ... for now all the options are in the Clip menu"

I just wish a better way to handle automation tracks, it's a pain to have them just there all the time, A feature to hide them for real would be nice and make the playlist more clean.

 

Can that be used as volume automation?

 

Fade in/out new features ?????
I'm not a FL user, but I'm so happy for legit users that they got this "24 years of Lifetime Free Updates!" because chargin money for fade-in feature is a crime.

 

not sure but they given hint that all the big features user are asking for decade's are going to be in FL Studio 21

So FL has never had fade in/out? That's one of the most basic things a DAW should have. I'm glad they've finally implemented it then.

I am using it on an offline workstation:
"From FL Studio 20.9 and higher, you will need to upload the unique Validation file FROM EACH COMPUTER YOU WANT TO UNLOCK OFFLINE. Create one from the pop-up dialog 'Save validation file ...' button. This will save a file 'licensevalidation.txt'. You will need this file when you go to your Image-Line Account..."

Is the curse of FL Studio lifelong " OLIVE colors " ended ?
I had already tried all skins, always remained a rest of the Olive colors. I have then deleted it.

 

With this protection, we will hardly see it cracked

 

If you save a little you can certainly afford a DAW.

Dark skin excites me. That's what I've been requesting of them for a long time. And they are now interested in audio editing. All that's left is a professional recording and editing system. That would be the perfect daw look

 

They keep offline support. They just made it hard to find

I would be mad as a legit user if I would have bought it under the premise that I can activate it offline, and then they change the protection. Sure, you get lifelong free updates which is a unique thing in this industry. But still that alone would be a reason for me to not invest in this software (and to not learn using it to begin with).

Still I have to admit the GUI looks really pleasing and very well designed.

 

i love fl studio and it has everything i need and even more. i just wish automation clips (like @shake_puig) said were handled a bit better. who remembers when you automated something, and then everytime you played the song it would reset? "initialize controls" lol. new features are a big change, going to speed up things even more (and we don't even know them all)

i still don't understand why it gets hated so much. obviously it's not for a mixing engineer, nor somebody who has to record a lot of stuff, but for pure production, what's it missing?

 

The fade in/fade out option is already there, it's just that you can choose between different option, not make your own like in Ableton (but you can make it with an automation)
The new function seems to take in consideration when it's different files, that can make the process more quick, and with that time I can spend more time on internet to tell people how FL Studio is awesome

 

Nobody hates it, they just don't use it.

Without full features dedicated to audio editing inside Playlist and also redesigning their mixer, it won't be a complete DAW.

FL was originally developed for old electronic music styles in mind. They need to re-architecture it to satisfy the needs for modern music if they want to attract more customers.
