Hey guys and girls,

I'm having an issue with kontakt when rendering.
As you can see above the long sustained notes are suddenly shut down.

So far I've experienced it on two different kontakt librairies so I think the problem comes from kontakt. I could'nt find a solution online so here I am, hoping someone would have a fix.

The name of the libraries could be helpful.

 

So it's only when rendering?

 

I have that all the time. Go to settings -> memory -> tick the box to override, and raise the value there.
Try that, but it will increase the RAM usage of the library.
If that fails then try rendering at 1x speed, and if that fails too then try rendering online while listening.

 

That could be it. Now that I think of it, there's another two options worth checking:
1. The regular max number of polyphony on the main options
2. In the options there's a couple for killing polyphony when CPU it's high.
3. Set quality of rendering "like real-time". This one just in case

 

Any library really... Sessions strings pro 2, cinematic brass, spitfire sutio woodwind etc

Hi! Had same issue on Windows tho, but maybe it can fix your problems for Mac also.
Look at your left window in the kontakt instance. Expert -> Engine -> Offline Bounce Mode.

You could also check if it does the same behavior in Kontakt 7.
