  2. @BEAT16, what do you think?

The 'wings' that I have placed between the unit and the divider has a thickness of 1.5mm, put one sheet of the plywood sheet at either side and it fits.

Wait until your ordered parts arrive.
Perfect, remember that the metal parts also have a thickness.

  5. sorry you've lost me, it's been a long day

when you say 'rack' you mean the bit we place the bolts in

  6. By the way, I'm not using those strips, I showed on the photo, I was using the 1.5mm as an example.

I also overlooked something. Long days exactly!
The bar with the screws is behind the rack, so everything should fit.

  8. What did you overlook?

That the rack still has a metal bend ? My rack has only one vertical (i.e. straight) ! I have marked it on the picture.
Or have you already added a metal part?

It's been designed exactly for that purpose. Straight from Output website:

  16. This is never ending, due to the errors made on the building part of the desk, there will be a 6.8mm gap between the shelf and the top 1u plate....

Everyone suffers from mistakes, I guess they are part of life.

    I'll try some positive thinking.
"The gap is an air hole so that the devices get fresh air and it also serves as a heat exhaust when the devices are in operation. "
A not serious contribution from me.

Adhesive strip or wooden strip ?

  18. I think what I may do, is put the rack mount gear in the middle, and so it makes an equal gap top and bottom and just put a strip of black foam in each gap

  19. Just got my blanking and brush plates, in the end I didn’t go with Adam Hall, however the rack strips that I am getting are Adam Hall

Congratulations, they look good, are practical and fit. You took very good photos.
Do you want to leave Naturhols or do you still want to stain them?
