Hi, I am having an odd problem. The site http://www.edrumbeats.com/ contains lot of drum midi files that I want to download and use. While using HTTrack Website Copier and WebSite Downloader for Windows I get files only from pages 1 to 15 and the last page. The hundreds of pages that lie in between do not download. I tried doing it over and over again with different settings in both software but its been a week now and I am getting desperate. Will somebody please look into it? There are thousands of drum midi patterns on the site and would be impossible to download 1by1 !!

the scripts running on the site probably recognise you are using a copier, check out the HtTrack FAQ section for further help

the midi files are named with just a number (under each page)

    "/DrumLessons/FileDownload/Rock/p1/1" and "/DrumLessons/FileDownload/Rock/p21/1" etc

so you would have to rename them all if you wanted to place them in one single folder, why not just use them off the site directly?

I would love to have all the files in one place and moreover I find it hard to search for patterns outside the working environment of Sonar. I mean it would be impossible to check which patterns fit unless you can direct Sessions Drummer directly to the midi files. (btw those midi rocks in Sessions Drummer)..

Thanks for pointing out the limitation though. I posted here because I am hoping someone here can do what I am unable to do - you know - like hacks and stuff!!

Well I downloaded a few and then just dragged them into my daw, with no problem. Run your DAW first then open up your web browser, download midi files, and click and drag into your daw from your download folder, just as quick as if you had the whole site on your harddrive

The midi files are all named the same "drum-loop" so you will need to rename them as you download them. The folder structure I listed above means the last number is actually a folder and each midi file is located inside each numbered folder.

if you have the downthemall plugin for your browser, open the dTa manager and add following link:
    Code:
    http://www.edrumbeats.com/DrumLessons/FileDownload/Rock/p[1:359]/[1:15]
as name tag / rename scheme put in this:
    Code:
    *subdirs**name**inum*.*ext*
this will put them ALL(15*359 midi) in a single DrumLessons/FileDownload/Rock subfolder of destination path

be patient as this takes time

It works. Thanks a lot. I have uploaded the files here - http://wikisend.com/download/562666/FileDownload.rar (All the midi files are there.)
