Ableton Index Issues

    Having problems with Ableton Index working on any version other than the 9.0.2 version. But that version is unusable on my system due to constant lagging during opening projects and saving. 9.0.5 works great but the index won't update. Is there an index file I can use pull from one version to another or something like that?

    Just let it go for a few hours one time and then it should be fine each time you open after that - the bigger your library the longer you have to allow it to cache mate. Cheers and Happy New Year! :mates:

    i remember reading a guy scanned his whole library for 49 hours straight.
    just let it scan and index. it will only scan when you add new files to the folders after that.

    The bigger your library, the longer you have to wait. What you can do is breakdown your library into some smaller subcategories/folders, then add them one at a time. This helped me with getting the job done.
