Hello everyone. I'm looking for a pipe organ library that was recorded very dry, that is, without too much, if any, room reverb, and closely mic'd. Too many pipe organ libraries nowawadys are recorded with too much room reverb and seperation between the pipes and the microphone. An upfront, clear, bright, present sound is what I'm looking.

The following are what I've landed on, but I'm wondering, are there any else?

    Impact Soundworks Fredonia Grand Organ
    Listen from 0:32 to 1:41

    Listen from 2:36 to 4:18

    Cinesamples O: Forbes Pipe Organ
    Listen from 17:23 to 19:20

    Thank you.

Those two I don´t like. Try Organ Mystique Expanded from Project Sam. It has just two mic settings Close and Stage. Sounds good.

Thank you for your advice. I listened to this demo of that library. It was made using only the close mics. Personally, it's not what I'm looking for. It's too "roomy" and too "warm". I'm looking for more of a "direct", "sharp" sound, a "cold" sound. Something with more "bite" and "sting".

Check out EZkeys pipe organ. I'd say it's clearer and you can make it drier than what's already here, but not nearly as bite-y. Also, it's pretty much a preset machine so not a lot of control there, but maybe you'll like it, idk.

    Orgues I like:
    O'Forbes,
    Soundiron Lakeside

Orgues I used: Miroslav Philarmonik Orgue,
it may be more Dry than others, but I won't say it's Cold/sharp/bitey, most likely the Opposite..

Interesting Orgues: Forcalquier Orgue, and all the Sonusparadisi collection.
It's a little raw/unproduced, but they have a pretty Direct/natural style of doing things and quite an amazing/historic selection

I´ts the close mic but soaked in Cathedral Convolution Reverb from Kontakt, you didn´t read all. Besides in the Advanced version there are three different organs. Worth a try.

In the intro screen, it said "only a little of eq and convolution reverb was added in konakt", so that's what I assumed it meant. I'll check it out though. Thanks.

Hauptwerk is my personal favourite. It has many different libraries. You might wanna give it a check as well...
