    Hello everyone.

I installed the new VSTi from steinberg and studio one 5.5.1 does not want to scan them at startup :

They are however functional in their use after forced passage. It's not serious but it's boring. If anyone has a solution...

    Thanks

Can you explain what you mean by forced passage?

Given that they're steinberg plugins, i'd first check their actual installation path - they may well have been installed into a plugin folder that Studio One is not automatically scanning and therefore not finding... (if i read your post correctly)

If the plgins are VST3, make sure they are installed to:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Steinberg

Steinberg is usually the default sub-folder name. Could also be Steinberg-Yamaha or something similar.

Studio One & Abelton had problems scanning additional or custom folder locations.

Reading the R2R.txt file with Neosoul Keys, it states that you have to install Halion Sonic SE if you want to use Neosoul Keys as a VST2 or VST3, even as a standalone VST2 or 3. I checked, and indeed that's the case - at least on Studio One.
I installed Halion Sonic SE3 first, THEN installed NeoSoul Keys. It didn't register the other way around. It then scans NeoSoul keys successfully as its own plugin, and it can also be used 'within' Halion Sonic SE3.
    Hope this helps.
(After using their Silk Emulator and Root Certificates first.)
