I don't install ilok system on my machine.

Got the same question for you @Olymoon, why is there so much hate against iLok?

I mostly use cracked softwares, often time to avoid bad protection schemes from developpers, but i own Softube Console, that is iLok protected. I can use cracked softube plugins at the same time as legit ones, and i only launch the softube central/iLok thing when purchasing one of their plugins.

To me its not too intrusive as once activated, i can disable the iLok softwares...curious about other people opinions on that

 

I dont want to use a driver or any program that would load with my computer, just to protect a program I bought.
There are so many better ways to protect a program, that this demostrate that the deveñoper dont care aboiut user.
See Parawave Rapid or phase Plant, they have each his own protection, which is so simple, but no need to install third party programs.

I bought products with ILok protection, after I'm sure they are well cracked and I can use them without Ilok.

 

Off Topic : I'm really interested in Parawave Rapid.

Same here for a long time. But 2 years ago I desided to go "totally" legit (I still test cracked stuff from time to time - I admit ;-) )

Im dont have any worries about the iLok protection (cloud/dongle) at all - its simple and works well imho.

I agree other/simpler protection methodes could be to preferred but thats not really the option here.
