Cherry Audio releases new "original" synth - Dreamsynth

    Features:
    Currently on for intro price of $39USD (reg $59USD)

    This one is their first original synth (vs. actually trying to emulate vintage synth). I haven't checked it out yet, but will probably demo it later on to see what it's like.

    Not sure I need yet another synth, but I imagine I'll eventually grab it if I like the demo, because I am an addict. lol

    Their analog emulations are excellent (at least to someone who's never played a vintage analog synth like myself) so I'm expecting this to be as well! $39 is also a great price :)

    Nooo.... I don't need more synths goddamnit.

    Took it out for a spin and have to say it sounds really nice to these tired ears, and a unique feature set. Now I wanna...

    *edit:* You need a free Cherry Audio account, which might or might not be a show-stopper. I already have one so I had no issues though.

    Never seen this guy's channel before, but this actually is a really good "First Look" video of Dreamsynth. He does a really good job at just doing some quick sound design too. Sounds pretty great!

    Sounds like the soundtrack for the distribution company at the beginning of 80's VHS videotaped movies.
    For 10$ more you can get a Behringer hardware synth :woot:

    He produces music under name Protoculture. And this is just one of his artistic name. But he is great educator too. He made many videos under Sonic Academy umbrella. But I quite like some of his tracks too.

    Not as far as I can tell, there are some bits here that would be awesome in the modular, the string OSC in it's simplicity and the reverb.
