    its cool imo
but as always, its quite easy to diy, with the fantastic granular engine inside Falcon.
and check out the other Expansions like Atmospherics
    and exchange the sounds!

(Expansions are much smaller and a great learning tool for Falcon)

    @voidSeeker
it incorporates functions of all of them

Indeed, I was surprised how little I liked the ones I thought I'd want and how much I was surprised by the ones that looked like "average main stream stuff". Many of the UVI audio demos don't really represent what you actually get IMHO. Some are really fantastic.

    4+ months UVI Falcon:

I got rid of all UVI libraries, why they are so huge and there is no way to just save one preset with its sounds?

Very disappointed by the Engine, it feels very limited.

Thanks to R2R and everybody who shared Libraries. :mates::thumbsup:

Congratulations ArticStorm, again some ballast thrown off, because less is often more.
I only use the synthesizer from UVI ! The synthesizer offers very many possibilities to change the sound.

What? Maybe a matter of taste? Different ears? Equipment? I don't know! But for me UVI Falcon is one of the best sounding engines of highest quality. Dry, clear and present sound. Best source material to work with!:yes:Really!

I am not talking about their Libraries in general, i also talking about the sound design, which i just couldnt get to work for me. But thats maybe up to me, since @BEAT16 seems to be fine with it.

Yeah, same here, I even liked the sounds of some of the banks, but I still not being able to understand the GUI properly and the fact that the big sized libraries take a long time to load on my PC just become a no go for me, so I never used it in a project. Therefore I uninstalled it some months ago. But I'm really grateful to R2R and all the people who share the libraries for the chance of being able to try it by myself.

As a rule, you need more time and patience for the Falcon, after 3 days you know approximately how it works.
    Beginner Level: Hard

Maybe, but i don't know. I guess that Beat16 is a reference to sweet16, that itself is a reference to a really big mystery. https://coralcastle.com/

Haha, those words actually don't rhyme... beat and sweet rhyme, however. Ahh the English language is quirky.

i plan on getting some more, as a non guitarist those acousticaudio libs are cool.
another great surprise is, watching synth geeks discover old and rare synths on the tubes
and finding loads of those are in the uvi libs.
most of the time some tape or running those libs through some hardware mixer
enhances some of those patches even more.

i agree loading times are long for some bigger patches but negligible for most or from ssd
all in all i like it....still:thumbsup:
but there is def a uvi way of doing things, as a sampler

It might be powerful, but i had problems to get presets initialized there, so get it reaady to even do something.
Then there are modules, which are totally stupid, which just are to limited and this makes it a pain to create new things in it for me. I am almost 15 years exploring softsynth ...

The gainular module really disappointed for me and there Max offeres for me a lot more possibilites in Live.
The effects are truely very good, and 90 fx of them should be plenty.

    --------------------------------------
Now to the libriaries. I found better alternatives for the pianos, strings, pretty everything, which are just better to handle or just work. KORG and roland supplied so much, the XV5080, JV, D50, etc and the KORG stuff.
And for me Omnisphere with its Lib and satelites just does it better. I know i cant just export single presets there either, but i dont know i just like it in a using scenario more than Falcon.

For example today i discovered that i can load up a Juno wavetables in Serum, use 1 unison, a filter adjust ADSR, crank Porta up, slam a chorus on it, add Blackhole and valhallaDSP Delay on it and just play stuff with it, just amazing. Its the simplicity, which i am missing in Falcon, if i have to click a few times to even add an Analog module, its not inspiring for me ...

Are there even people sound designing with Falcon, all i see is only Sample Libraries?

I might return to Falcon one day or not?

If you find it useless, its awsome for you ...
