Why the hatred? I'm not really a fan of either Nirvana or Foo Fighters, but Dave Grohl always comes across as a pretty decent human being.

 

yeah Nirvana also play all sorts of nasty, trash, clown sort of music and just imagine if people really believe that opinion and never let them produce a record. Lol.

The last record of Foo Fighters that I like is Wasting Light (2011) and I never really dig their music past that, it's okay, but it is just not for me I guess.

Dave Grohl has done a lot of stuff in his hit and miss attempt to do something that never been done before and it kept the "band music" alive for quite some time now and even won few grammys while he was at it. For my collection of reading 20+ books, and watching almost 50 documentaries about Nirvana every single one of them saying the same thing whether direct on indirect, Dave Grohl is the one that made Kurt going out and actually finish the record. He is the pushover guy that the band needed to complement the other two excellence musicians that is known for having self-destructing laidback slackers character back then.

He's a great guy IMO, maybe not as good as Kurt, but he never want to grow up which is what is like to be in a band. You will never grow up in a good band, your age stuck there. Unless your band sucks. Or you never really be in a band, because you can't just "I know" or "I understand" that shit, you won't, EVER, unless you've been in a good one. Just ask Thom Yorke, he actually said it.

Dave Grohl is still in his twenties and this is what a people in their twenties do, and long may it continues.

I just can't stand that guy... do I have to LOVE him?.. why?.. I really dislike him.. his "music" "acting".. "character" etc..
but i like Kurt Cobain feeling.. but this "thing" called foo Fighters ..¡ no no no thanks... ¡
