.rematrix You need REmatrix Full or REmatrix player installed and an account to activate the library.

Wav might the most obvious format but it could also be flac?!?

Downloading the IR- lib doesnt make you wiser.

rematrix is just zip container. But inside you have .rir files, which seems to contain the IR data with a SQL header.

I am in no way installing another player version of something.

Still havnt found a good IR plugin. maybe just use Ableton Hybrid reverb with actual Wav support for IR files.

Overloud seems to heavy to turn rematrix into a closed format where you need to buy new IR expansions? Or do they actual support Wav import for your own IRs? (I mean i have plenty of IR files on my HDD.)

I`ll check it I have rematrix full legit. So I unzip it. be right back

    EDIT...

Renamed to zip unpacked there are...

    Blackstar [Multilayer].ovb
    Blackstart Studio.rir
    Blackstar.OVB

    and a Mac folder.
    So it is .rir

Forgot to answer. I do not have the player but in the full version, you can use your user IRs in .wav format.

    That's what I thought
    Exactly, that's why I asked.

So it's not an IR pack, it's a rir pack that you also have to authorize ...

I managed to authorise this in the free player, but can't authorise in the full version from the sister site?

For now I settled with Convology XT to load IR's. But i am not happy with it, because every time I load a wav and store it as my preset it can't open the wav so I have to recreate it manually each time I open a project. And this can't be the way to go. I also converted a lot of IRs manually to use in Logic's Space designer, but I use Maschine primarily, so not really a solution.

    Besides that, I've tried:

    - Waves IR1: works but I won't give waves another dime due to their stupid waves upgrade scam.
    - NI Reflektor: works but it requires Guitar Rig as a container
    - Klangfalter: a free plugin which comes with Unify. It seems to not apply the IR acccurately. The same IR loaded in convology xt sounds different in Klangfalter. Seems to be mono. There's also a github repo for Klangfalter but it doesn't have binaries so you have to built it from source.
    - MConvolutionEZ: not a fan of Melda products at all. I don't like their whole approach to User Interfaces. They use flac and importing your own IRs is a major pain in the ass.
