Hello i'm a newbie on this Forum and i just have a quick question about downloaded loops
i've downloaded cymatics loops which are not available now like zodiac 2 or dragon sample pack

is that risky to use unlicenced loops when you sell your beats ? if yes how can i buy or get a licence for those sound now ?

Since they are Cymatics, you could do the ethical thing. Buy any one of their other packs they still have online. they will probably have the same sh*t in them anyway. You may not even need to rename the files in your project. or find them hiding in "free" versions with different pack names.

buy one pack and rename files after the samples from that pack. So you can always claim, you took it from that pack.

i see but if they claim, they will ask the licence pdf for the sample pack and they will see that the Loop does not come from this pack? no ?

EDIT: it's just a question in the case cymatics claims the sample, they have archives with order numbers pdf they gonna verify it even if i rename the samples

I would also suggest that you delete the Metadata (the BWF format comes to mind) of the files but I am certainly being paranoid.

they have a sampledetection departement full of high trained audio agents espacially for seeking unallowed use of there samples
    2
im sure they will come across your stuff and will recognize there samples, even if you tweak, transform or manipulate them otherwise. they have an ultrasonic detection batforce, which can hear the imprinted ultrasonic audio code.
    3
then they send the special trained pdf licence scanner engineers to you, and believe me they will find what they are looking for. even if you believe that you have not a single one pdf at home.

they hire a whole bunch of lawyers which will destroy you finaly! they have the money for!

    good luck!

You showed good will that you have bought one pack. This for them already enough. They are aware that their packs for sure shared across the web and people using them!

Vengeance did this for years, they sampled stuff from tracks and soled them as theirs, now I found that Myloops do the same thing from Vengeance stuff, they modify them a bit and release as their own, I am sure there are many doing this ...don't worry about, I wouldn't care but if you are working with a label like that then I would turn my back at them ...I think there is no famous artists that did not used someone's stuff... one use a synth, or guitar, its not his creation, same with the loops, many times you open a project and you hope you do something magical, obviously you throw a bunch of stuff is not yours, but what is yours is the composition, the recipe of the whole tracks, who cares if you used a loop from someone's work ? ...a cooker use many ingredients to make a great plate, he buys the stuff or he plant his own vegetables, winch the seeds weren't his in the first place ...so we get to the point we loop like egg and chicken story, those acusing you of using someone's else loops either are jealous or are thieves and want to rob you off, or both! be ware

you most certainly should not be selling someone else's work. which is what that sounds like.

it's extremely clear. if you use something to make money, you should pay for it. (easier to replace it anyway)
