Arturia Fx Collection 2. Their tape mello plugin was free for a limited time if I remember correctly.

It's no longer free though. It was only free a while during christmas, iirc. It's $49 now.

 

I thought that what this was for, to say what I want to buy. Simple as that?

 

I prefer the amount of control they have over the artifacts. Sketch cassette is not as intuitive imo. for instance: sketch cassette has a slider from new tape ----- old tape. wavesfactory has an artifact knob which acts as a mix for all the dirty settings you set. You can also oversample in wavesfactory and my favorite tool is the stability randomness in the options panel. That randomness slider mixed with the stability and artifacts knob on the front allows you to get insane sun drenched warped tape sounds.. idk to me you get a more authentic sound with wavesfactory because wavesfactory cassette has more tweakable things than sketch does... ALso I really like the overdrive sounds that wavesfactory recreates
