I've been trying to use a R2R keygen on my Windows 11 laptop, but whenever I try to open it, nothing happens. Of course the windows error appeared once saying that it was a virus, but I then disabled Win Defender/Allowed the file, but nothing happened. Now whenever I try to open it, nothing at all happens. No error. No nothing. Just a quick blue loading circle beside the cursor for about 0.1 seconds and then nothing else. I also tried safe mode, but to no avail.
I used to be able to use keygens all the time, I even had some saved on my Ext. HD. But not even those work anymore!!
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

 

I've tried every forum up here but they all say the same thing. Disable RTP on Win Def, Run in safe mode, Run as admin, etc. Idk what else to do...

 

The problem is, when Windows once recognized it as a virus, a flag is set in your windows. Even if you now disable Defender it will not open. I think to remember, the only way is to make a copy of the KeyGen and use this one instead.

Buy a small refurbished or used PC, install windows 7 or 8.1 if you prefer use it for your keygens, transfering files between external drives, and general daily and net use. Generate your keygen data on a USB and put the licence file or info on your Win 11 laptop. I've never had any keygen issues with Win 7.

 

use another AV (keygen frienly) to disable defender

 

this "antivirus" has been unable to be completely disabled for some time now, even if windows says it's disabled. it runs all the time - it's part of the windows telemetry service. to disable this service and its auxiliary components, you need to use special utilities (I advise my friends to Destroy Windows 10 Spying - they are satisfied with the result). I don’t know if there are already such utilities for windows 11, but they will definitely appear.

most likely the files that now won't run have been sent to quarantine or some list of dangerous files. disabling protection and adding the file to the trusted list will not help while the file is in quarantine. look for something similar in windows defender settings and restore quarantined files. if recovery is not possible, delete the files from the quarantine, download again and try to run the keygen.

 

Windows 11 Defender is alway activ. You must use "KMSOffline.v2.3.3.x86.x64" for desable Defender. Working for me

I always simply disable real-time protection before I use a keygen and enable it afterwards. Worked on Windows 10 and works on Windows 11. Never had a problem.

 

Pack the keygens, with the antivirus software turned off, with WinRar. Burn the keygens on a CD/DVD.

 

Thats a good idea.
I should also mention I disable real-time protection already before I unpack the software/keygen.

 

Maybe try in the Windows Sandbox..

 

Try using Defender Tools 1.12 Portable by Ratiborus. Just do a Yandex search for it.

 

Try to open Windows Defender and delete from quarantine all blocked files. That means find the list of blocked files and Choose "Allow" (or something similar) for every file.

P. S. I haven't upgraded to W11, still W10. It works here. I don't think something significally changed after update.

I used to have similar problem but I got fixed it by disabling the real time protection from my AV on my Windows 7.

 

windows detected it as virus and put it on quarantine. you have to go to the protection/exam history and you will find it there. you have to select the threat (keygen) and allow it on your computer. then, if you go back to the location where it is, you should be able now to run it

 

Just google it I typed in "KMSOffline.v2.3.3" and got several hits for KMSOffline 2.3.5 portable, i checked it out downloads are OK. It is a new activator from Ratiborus who's as you must know has been around for many years now.

 

Why not just add an exclusion?? Create a folder somewhere for excluding stuff. Add an exclusion for windows to never scan it..

On top of that, like @bobdule said, you can disable realtime protection of defender if you install and enable another AV (keygen friendly, as he noted). That works in Windows 10.. not sure about 11 though, as I refuse to Beta it. lol

For keygens, I always exclude them from scans, then run in Sandboxie. Running a VM for them would also work, but I just find it more work than the way I do it.

 

In windows 10 pro you can run anything in sandbox. This will run anything, even an infected program safely. It basically allows another version of windows within your windows operating system. Anything that happens in there stays in the sandbox and doesn't affect your operating system. It's easy to setup windows sandbox. Just Google windows sandbox. It's made by Microsoft.
