Vintage Vault 4
It has decades worth of synths, samplers and drum machines all meticulously sampled by UVI and crafted into characterful virtual instruments. UVI says that because they are sampling actual instruments rather than trying to model or emulate behaviour, you get the character and quirks of the actual instrument rather than pretending to be one. That’s definitely one way of looking at it.



You’ve got everything in here from vintage Moog, through Roland Jupiters and creamy Oberheims, to digital FM, wavetable, sampling and all manner of drum machines. UVI has tackled some quite unusual synths like the Microwave XT, Korg PS-3200, Ensoniq SQ-1 and Synclavier. You are not going to go wanting for synthesizer sounds and your only conundrum will be how to navigate through those 14,000 presets.

Each of the products has various devices sampled within it so there are actually 255 individual pieces of hardware in this collection covering every decade that matters. Every one has a slim and focused user interface to give you quick and easy editing over the most important parameters. These are available in the free UVI Workstation software which gives you access to the whole library in a single interface. You can also upgrade to UVI Falcon which will unlock unlimited audio and MIDI effects, sample editing, scripting and more.

Prices and data for the UVI software package
UVI Vintage Vault 4 is currently available until February 21, 2022 on the manufacturer's website at the introductory price of 399 euros instead of 599 euros. The plug-ins run on macOS 10.9 to 10.11 and Windows 8 to 10 standalone, as VST, AAX and AU in 64 bit. For authorization you need a free iLok account (or dongle) and an active internet connection. The instruments work with UVI Workstation 3.1.3 or higher and Falcon from version 2.5.3. The package occupies around 285 GB on your hard drive. When you have all the synths in the world but only use like 3 in the collection lol

 

i mean as soon as UVI Falcon came out. vintage vault was never shared. nice collection. you have it ?

 

Was Vintage Vault 3 never shared?? All the products that make up the Vintage Vault 3 collection have been released.

 

they could have hired some talented engineers to model all those synths using short samples and some code, which is already sufficient to model even the most "analog of analog" gear, instead of hundreds of gigabytes of recordings of a few presets. but that would be too arturia. (but arturia makes up for it by using high definition bitmaps that somehow manage take up hundreds of megabytes) i got one of their vintage sample kits as a freebie and i can't justify maintaining the hard disk space in order to keep a project live. folks with sample libraries are over there and i'm just over here. God bless them.

no it was never shared in one piece. anyway i switched back to omnisphere. uvi flacon is great and most analogue sounding of all, but i just can't justify the storage space it eats. good to see other members from the same country(hu) - cheers

 

Ah ok, but as you already know Vintage Vault 3 is just the name of a bundle, and being over 220 Gigabytes in size, it is practically impossible to release it all together as a single product. But luckily our wonderful R2R and community allowed us to have access to all the products in the bundle, as well as many others.
