Could someone please hold my hand through the process of how to run an exe. on Mac Monterey?

In the process of setting up new M1 Mac, and installing plugins I've used in session on old laptop.

I've followed instructions included with download and am getting the "No GUIboot found" message. I believe what I haven't done is ran the library placer. The instructions don't say how to do this, and I'm not savvy enough to know how to run exe.'s on Mac.

I must have figured out how to do it on my old Catalina MBP because Addictive Drums is working there but for the life of me I can't remember how I did it!

    Thank you in advance!!

Thanks! Gave it a try and seemed to get it to run placer.exe but still getting no GUIboot found so maybe I needed more than just to run the library placer!

Sorted out GUIboot not found problem eventually- I was using Library in user instead of directly from HD if that makes sense. But now there's a black screen :0 and from the looks of it we're waiting for a fix to be released.
