Apologies for this post, as I did ask on the end of a similar one but think it may be better on its own post?

I have downloaded the KittyScript which looks like it may solve my issues
Have the instructions here too, which mention:

''you will be prompted for the folder with library. Choose the one that contains the library's .ncint file''

So Open the ''Add Library.command'' script

This opens fine but with the last lines of text :

''
osascript: can't open default scripting component.

Invalid Kontakt library path

Press Enter to continue...

When I press enter it goes to :

''
logout

Saving session...

...copying shared history...

...saving history...truncating history files...

...completed.


[Process completed]''

Also the terminal script opens with the following at the top :

''the default interactive shell is now zsh.
To update your account to use zsh, please run `chsh -s /bin/zsh`.''

Does anyone know what this means, and how I do this safely?
So i'm guessing the script runs correctly from then on, after this?

In my System Preferences, under 'Users & Groups' the Login Shell = /bin/zsh

- Am I doing something daft? where do I get to add the folder of the Kontakt Library with the .nicnt in it?
I can't seem to point it to the folder of the problematic Kontakt Library?

I am on Catalina 10.15.7.

I’m just not sure how it works or how to set up?

or the Z shell as I’m not up to speed with anything on the Terminal

 

After a restart and changing the Z shell this now does work, when opening it automatically opens a folder to choose.

So have started on some of my very few remaining libraries (East West / Garritan) etc to get them into Kontakt 6.6.1 (without touching K5)

Luckily, some do show up like EW Colossus now in K6! but they are DEMO mode. I can't remember what causes this, whether its a simple .nicnt change and resave or .xml change and resave?

And some like 'Nostalgia' and Garritan Personal Orchestra, looked like the Kitty Script did something, but they still don't show at all in K6??

 

try to update the old nicnt files, if they are still using ras2 (the serial registration mode), before use the script.
or edit the xml.

use ras3 instead, as it is writen in NativeAccess.xml (use the RegKey for nicnt/xml name)
