One of the reasons, and there really aren't many, I'm leaving Pro Tools is the lack of hardware latency compensation. Logic and Studio One has plugins you can make and it compensates for the round trip. I used to Mellow Muse ATA for plugin compensation but it's just not ideal once you start bussing things everywhere and also using hardware inserts. Aside from going HD, I'm curious to know how others are dealing with it. Specifically with hardware inserts.

Oh and I'm aware of recording the track with hardware insert and comparing it the track without and using the difference in samples to enter into the io page. That doesn't seem to work. Perhaps I've been doing it wrong?
